ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Tasmania has two campuses across the state and provides our innovative learning and teaching program to over 130 students, in partnership with approximately 20 staff.
A registered independent, multi-campus school, we are a highly respected academic facility that demands high standards from ourselves. The School is happy to be judged objectively against other schools on performance criteria, measured as the fulfilment of student potential, aligned to government standards.
We are committed to achieving the highest levels of teaching from our staff and academic potential from our students.
Originally known as Oakwood School, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Tasmania has established and is committed to maintaining an educational structure that will provide for students located in Hobart and Launceston. This involves the provision of a central administration and registered campuses, strategically located to serve the students and maintains the integrity of being ‘one school’ by:
- centrally enrolling all students;
- maintaining a uniform administration structure, policies, and audit system;
- overseeing the curriculum delivery and the assessment and reporting methods;
- controlling and maintaining the financial viability of the school.
The programs and teaching at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Tasmania support and promote the principles and practice of Australian democracy, including a commitment to the elected government, the rule of law, equal rights of all before the law, freedom of religion, freedom of speech and association and the values of openness and tolerance.
